Karen I really felt your pain when you talked about the betrayal you felt the next Dump was elected for the second time. I felt that way for about a minute and then numb. It pissed me off especially hearing the Bernie bros and extreme left looking to black women for answers after they helped sabotage the election. We’re expected to shut the fuck up when we try to help but they want us to fix the shit they mess up. It’s hard but I still love being black and I’d choose it every lifetime.
David Oyelowo is basically indicative of a lot of black British people. Because the majority of them are first and second generation immigrants they don’t have the same community and roots established in England like we do in the US. Because we embrace our slave roots they look down on us. But secretly they’re jealous of what we’ve built here in the US. They may talk shit about us but they follow everything we do. I’ve been to England twice and both times the people I encountered seemed to be obsessed with America. So when they talk bad about us, it’s just sour grapes. David Oyelowo owes the US his career. He can go but Idris can stay.
