I was so stressed waiting for this episode because I thought you decided to take the week off but I’m glad you came through because this episode and the recap was fire.
I’m just going to go ahead and call Ulf, LeTarian because he wants to do hoodrat shit with his friends. He betrayed Rhaenyra for some damn beer. What a loser.
Look at Karen stuntin’ on these hoes. She be knowing. Aegon is trash but that scene with Sunfyre was so good. Now king crispy and his even crispier dragon are reunited and it’s going to be on.
It is not looking good for team black. Rae is surrounded by traitors and incompetence. I’m not sure how she can win this but then again there are four people going for the throne now and they all have dragons. Rae, Ormond on behalf of Darron, Aemond and Aegon.
Next week’s episode should be lit and I can’t wait.
I’m rooting for everybody black. As in the people not the team.
Man, I don’t know if I was the right kind of high or what but that dragon fight was so visceral that I felt that shit! Every night , every scratch happened to me too! This is my favorite use of dragons in the series for me.
Also Aegon was doing a Frank Castle impression when he let the Sunfyre spray! Before he was laughing like the Joker he was just yelling! And I was laughing!
Great episode, great prediction Karen. You know that song was playing in my head as soon as I could hear the dragon moving through the forest – Karen be knowing!!!
I just have two things to say.
1) A complaint. Your recaps are so good that when I watch the HOTD episodes I try to anticipate, without much success, the jokes you two will make on the recap and it takes me out of the episode. Dial it back a bit. Don’t be so funny and excellent. Hasn’t Trump taught us that mediocrity is an asset?
2) Forgive me if you have mentioned this on the podcast before but, do you remember the Ridley Scott joint “Raised by Wolves”? I just realised that Allyn is father and Lady Jayne is mother!

Y’all disappeared and everyone was worried you were gone, but you came back with a Dracarys episode to prove Sunfyre isn’t the only one who knows how to make a Lazarus-like entrance!
When Aemond got poisoned and they ended it in a vague space, I immediately looked for news on Ewan Mitchell (the actor who plays Aemond) because a lot of times shows will float the possible death of a character near the end of a season when they are in contract negotiations or if the actor has a possible conflict for the upcoming season. No news on that front, so they may address that in the finale…
