I finished X-Men ’97 and I was satisfied with it. It did feel a little rushed, particularly the Cyclops & Phoenix going to the future for Nathan, which could have easily been 3 episodes on it’s own. What I liked the most about the show was the fan service. The costumes worn from different eras, the X-Force opening, and Morph changing into different non-X-Men characters. Who else caught him changing into not only Flat Man from the Great Lake Avengers, but also Mr. Fantastic who is often mistaken for Flat Man. Whoever heard of that obscure team comic Fantastic Four?
The mention of the Midnight Suns game reminded me of how much time I spent in the photo mode. I loved creating my own covers and panels using the tool. What was nice that you could pose and move around and add characters and word bubbles. You could even change them from their costumes to their civilian clothes for the photos. A feature worth checking out.
I have been watching the old black and white Twilight Zone . Yes it is old, but the stories and the moral questions they rise are still relevant to today. There is even an episode about a little boy that a whole town is afraid of. They had to be nice and complement him all the time or he threatens to erase them out of existence. Very relevant. I have not watched the Jorden Peele version yet but it is on the watch list.
Finally, I want to touch on the Army battalion that is bribing GTA 6 access for 2 years of service. I am sure most of the people that jump on this offer would do it to not play the single player but the new version of GTA Online. Online is the reason the game has survived 3 gaming generations. I wonder if they know that Online will not be available at launch but weeks later. Will the sign ups be sad, angry, and disappointed?
That’s it for me. Going back to my summer obsession of the game Satisfactory. I haven’t touched Sea of Thieves all summer because of this damn Gathering/building monstrosity. I must save the earth by exploiting this one.

Lawd, I need the grim reaper to come on outside, because I’m fittin’ to jump him. It wasn’t enough that in a week, where Dolly passed on a Tuesday, Tim Curry on a Wednesday, the reaper said let me do some damage to these childhoods and Peter Cullen passed on a Thursday. Not Optimus Prime……….LAWD….WHY??????? That wasn’t enough……Mike Mc Farland, the English voice actor for Jean Kirstein from Attack on Titan and Master Roshi from Dragonball Z and countless other beloved anime characters has died as well. At this point, the reaper needs a beatdown.
I got my movie tickets for this Thursday’s showing of the 40th anniversary of Transformers The Movie and this showing will hit harder now that Peter is no longer with us, but we in the Transformers community will always have our North Star, our Optimus Prime. Also do you two plan on going to the movie as well? I know I asked if you would do a recap, but I also know that you two stay super booked and busy, but a recap or a Spoiled movie review would be so dope!
In the meantime, can you cue up the ‘oh, you crazy’ clip, please? I am almost finished with the 3rd season of Kuroko’s Basketball and I am being introduced to the captain of the Generation of Miracles. When he met Kagami with the scissors…….that told me everything that I needed know…he crazy crazy.
While I am watching Lanterns and just enjoying the complex storytelling along with the wierdness (cue last week), I must also shout out the third season of Interview with The Vampire/The Vampire Lestat. The level of acting on this show is just phenomenal!!! Give Jacob Anderson and Sam Reid all of their flowers!

Talking about Lanterns, I actually just finished a rewatch of The Gifted, followed by 12 Years a Slave, & The Believer (friend recommendations and a semi-random viewing order of recommendations), but apparently I ended up watching the Garret Dillahunt as a master of embodying bigotry master’s course. . .
Now I have to go watch something light, maybe The Mindy Project. . . There’s no way they’d have Garret Dillahunt play a bigot in that one. . .

Mask fans unite! T-Bob is an iconic robot companion who could not only do more than H.E.R.B.I.E. from the Fantastic 4, he could also become a scooter! And I am aware that T-Bob, short for thingamabob, is a corny name, but that doesn’t make him any less cool!!!
