    Hello Rod,

    Your Website doesn’t like me
It will not let me post my feedback, but if I wrote novels like I do, I see why
Here is my feedback for tonight’s Nerd Off:

Hello Rod, Karen and fellow Autobots!

Thank you so much for that spoiled movie review of Transformers The Movie. My inner 13 year old got her tickets, her popcorn, drank and expensive-ass candy and relived this classic! I know I bugged you and Karen for years for a review and I want to say thank you. I know that you both provided your review, but there was one little thing or 2 that I wanted to see if you noticed. Leonard Nimoy as Galvatron provided the coldest line in the movie…..”Coronation Starscream? This is bad comedy!” My minus here: I don’t know who was in charge of quality and continuity for the movie, but was slightly off. Example: When Soundwave dispatched his Memorex Cassettes (if you know, you know), the coloring was different on Rumble. His color was lilac, but in the first frame, he was black and red like Frenzy. Also all the Insecticons were either turned into Sweeps or part of the Cyclonus’ armada, but on the planet Junkion, there was an Insecticon that was part of the group that attacked the Autobots. Please don’t ask me why those parts stick out rent free in my head, but thank you for allowing me to indulge for a hot sec. And thank you for your thoughts of Optimus Awakening as I was so confused at first, but later I understood the message.

Also, I have finished Kuroko’s Basketball and again, 15/10 stars….no notes. I had to even shed a tear at the end of the movie, The Last Game. I would like to imagine that Kagami would wind up playing for the Lakers since he is from LA and then get traded to play with the Hornets later. With that being said, I have finished the Holy Trinity of sports anime and my ranking is as follows: Haikyu, Kuroko’s Basketball and lastly, Blue Lock.

Finally, I am giving romance anime a try. So, when Smoking Behind the Supermarket, With You was first released, it was only in little 15 min increments with limited episodes. They decided to release them in full episodes with dubbing and I love it! Bless Sasaki’s slow little heart.

Yes, I typed out a novel here, but I love it here and thank you so much for allowing my nerd to nerd here 🙂

    Thank you,
    Mizzbarnes

    Fellow gamers, what’s crackin’?

Man, I have played my fair share of first time. Metal Gear Solid 4, Pragmata & I guess Absolum’s kinda one, to a certain extent (though, didn’t think it’d get as addictive). I’ve spent less time with MGS4, shockingly, as the game intimidates me to some extent, as its once-revered stealth mechanics are a bit outdated, even for a hardcore MGS like myself, but I’m having fun. Currently on act 2.

Pragmata. My GAWD. I love it. Didn’t think it’s puzzle/action elements would hook me as it has, but the fact that it’s real-time instead of slow-mo’d plays to the benefit of the game itself. It’s mechanically simple, yet intuitive. The story’s not particularly interesting but I do like Diana. Shout-out to her voice actor Grace Saif. Steals the show in a game with very little characters.

Absolum, you addictive-death-on-roid piece of genius. On a couple of occasions, I’ve gotten to the final boss, but either I’m not powerful enough or defensive minded towards defeating him. Been playing these latest runs with Cider (she’s awesome) and it’s been hard to switch to other characters. Dying a lot has been quite a rewarding experience, which is why I’ve stayed away from this time of game for so long, but it’s stayed with me.

Movie-wise, Hope was great. A bit of a shock when the ending is about the aliens & the pending threat, but all in all is a masterclass of filmmaking with great shootouts, scenery, humor. A lot of fun.

Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil knew the assignment & was executed well.

Verity – the new Anne Hathaway flick was not for me, but it wasn’t her fault. A bit long in the tooth with a dull second-act but the twist in the third act was…funny? Idk.

Haven’t seen Digger in time for this latest episode, but I’m willing to discuss it another time.

    In the meantime, peace out.
