I do not understand the appeal of Chris Brown. I like a handful of his songs and he’s a talented dancer but he’s a horrible human being. In my opinion if Rhianna was his only slip up he could have rehabilitated his image with the right or team, a real apology, therapy and maybe a huge donation to a DV charity but this nigga just can’t get right. He can’t keep his hands to hisself. I don’t think he’s R Kelly level horrible but he still sucks. Not a good look for Jasmine Crockett.
I’ve been seeing a lot of white gender wars skits that have been ads for investigation sites and I have to admit some of them got me because they’re good. But some of the white gender wars is so good. A lot of it is trad wives complaining about their trifling husbands but it’s still entertaining.
Unfortunately for House Speaker Mike Johnson, even with Congressional approval they would first need to repeal 18 U.S. Code § 600 – the statute that makes it a criminal act to purchase votes – before they could even consider voting on funding this vote-buying scheme. In fact, just the act of promising it is illegal.
The text of the amendment states (edited for brevity & clarity):
Whoever, directly or indirectly, promises any . . . benefit, provided for . . . by any Act of Congress, or any special consideration in obtaining any such benefit, to any person as . . . reward for . . . the support of or opposition to any candidate or any political party in connection with any . . . election to any political office. . . shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.
In other words, Trump should be facing around 342,860,353 (340 million) years in prison and a fine not exceeding $3,428,603,530,000.00 (3.4 trillion). – because the offer was extended to “all Americans” this accounts for every act of vote-buying engaged in.
Now, you know me. I’m all for restorative justice. . . However, given his prior convictions and penchant for violating the law, I would suggest imposing the maximum fine and maximum prison sentence would be more than justified and may begin restoring the nation to a semblance of what it once was…
Wait… This statement by Mike Johnson makes him a conspirator after the fact. Perhaps a cozy roommate sitch? And imposing fines on the Republican party as a whole?
We know the climate is perfect and has 0 problems. It makes sense to cancel all the limits on pollution, limits are just annoying. And seem unamaerican. Unless it’s limits on women’s rights of similar boring stuff.
