    Hey Rod and Karen,

Thank you both for continuing to discuss the importance of voting. I love it! And it always makes me think of nuances that I hadn’t considered. Recently, I was thinking- how different would gerrymandering and voting access look in this country had the US paid black Americans reparations, instead of giving over resources to bitter, treasonous confederates?

AND why does it never occur to the “voting is useless” crowd to use their time to rally for equitable voting? Instead of insisting on giving up one of the most fundamental democratic and economical tools we have available, they could be pointing to the undue burden and drain of resources it takes the disenfranchised to vote in red/purple districts to make the case for reparations . I know voting accessibility for everyone here in the south would look a lot different if a major part of our populace was not deprived from land and capital….anyways just a random thought and love you both.

AND! Why does it seem to quiet down around election time? A Change.org petition to a running candidate from registered voters seems far more motivational than one to a sitting senator who has expressed she does not care. (But maybe also I am missing things in my bubble).
Anyways, let me log off this damn machine, the information coming out this Hearing is making me gag all over again.

Chik-fila hit the jackpot with their peach shake. You will not enjoy this deliciousness if you don’t like fruit in your milkshakes.

The mortality rate for covid went down a lot, so that’s good. I heard on a science podcast it changed from about 4% to way unter 1.
    Explanation:
Vaccinated people have way milder infections, we have the antibodies now to treat people and know overall more about covid.

You are an internationally listened podcast now you two. So when you ask if people got Juneteenth off don’t forget that the non Americans mess up your science.
