I really relate to the title of this episode. In CA, Gov. Newsom has been posting about our high vaccination numbers and how we have the lowest positivity rate in the nation. Things are opening back up…and I’m not ready for it. COVID putting a forced pause on things revealed some things to me this past year, and one is that I was doing way too much. I was running around, being super busy, but unnecessarily so. I’m not looking forward to that pace of life again. Also, I’m just not wanting to be around a bunch of people who have a wide range of perspectives on this virus. I don’t know if you’re like me and stayed at home mostly and couldn’t wait to get vaccinated and believe in science — or are you one of those who were living recklessly this whole time, aren’t vaccinated, and blah blah blah. How do I know? I don’t know if I want to take that chance. My husband and I talked about it because he is the same way, and I think we are going to go out and try an activity together next weekend just to start getting used to it. Sigh. No answers here, just grateful you mentioned it because I feel weird. Like everyone can’t wait to bust out, and I’m like, hold up! Anyway, love the show! Mary
