What a great recap of your time in NYC, and thank you for dispelling some of the rumors about us. I’m not going to say we’re polite, but we’re generally nice and helpful folks. We want people to love our city as much as we do.
I’ve never been inside the Empire State Building or the Statue of Liberty or the NY Botanical garden in the Bronx and I’m a lifelong NYer. The best thing about having children here is that you can go on field trips and tourist attractions with them. I’ve done the 3 hour and the 1 hour boat tour, and I. learned so much about my home city. Inspired by the pandemic, I decided that im going to appreciate my city more. Go to more museums, free events, and just stand on piers and appreciate the water around us.
When you come back to NYC, I hope you make it to Brooklyn and I can give you a tour of my library and give you honorary library cards.
