Congrats on the 500th episode! I can honestly say that Balls Deep Sports is worth the subscription to premium alone. Here’s to another 500 more episodes of Ray Lewis crime sound bites, not really talkin about athletics (Vice Principals drop if you got it) and highlighting black excellence in the form of big money contracts!
I’m sure someone else would have mentioned Rashard Mendenhall’s bringing of a barbershop topic to the mainstream but if not, please let us know what your thoughts are. On one hand I’m like, “he’s got a point” but on the other hand I’m thinking, “bruh… shut up!”

Rod, I just wanted to mention that I appreciate your comments on Zion and sharing your own experience. I think it was on the main show that you mentioned that it would be great if people discussed Zion with the same compassion as those pushing Draymond to go to therapy for basically being an out-of-control asshole. You and Karen have met me IRL and I’m tiny, but believe it or not, I spent a month in a hospital eating disorder unit when I was in my 20s and still have to watch myself to not get caught up in obsession over my weight. All this to say, you never know what someone is going through. I believe there may be something going on with Zion that manifests in his weight, and I don’t think it’s a self-discipline thing. I hope he does talk to someone, not just for his weight, but it seems like he could use some overall life guidance as seen by his choices earlier in the year. And by the way, I saw his dunk the other night against Memphis – he can still sky! Anyway, thanks for the great shows and happy holidays to all of you!

So it seems Rashad was channeling his inner George Wallace, Alabama governor in the 60s who once said segregation today, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever! He tweeted he is fed up of average white guys who never played the sport of football commentating on the game! Which led to let’s have an all white vs all black pro bowl game. I wanna know what team does Patrick Mahomes play for?? Who guarding tyreek hill? The result of this game definitely seems like a no brainer.
