What it do Nerd Off Crew,

    I hope all is well.

To Sterling’s point last time I wrote in about playing video games while in the concussion protocol: y’all were correct, I absolutely *should not* have been doing that which is why I turned the brightness on the TV all the way down. Did I master running the triple option on the PS2 while being unable to name the days of the week backwards of Tuesday? Yeah but I got better eventually.

In that same vein, shouts out the cast and producers on The Boys for coming out repeatedly and flatly telling the folks who think Homelander is a hero to fuck off and watch something else. I think the Boys is an excellent adaptation and update from the comic and I’d even say superior product to the comic. When Stormfront first met Homelander and corrected that PA that she was from Portland, OR and not Seattle before commenting on Homelander’s eye color? NIG-GUH. Details like that stick out to me as deliberate writing choices that are as subtle as Dave Filoni’s thoughts on fascism and imperialism through Star Wars.

    I hope y’all have a wonderful a weekend and stay nerdy y’all!

Hello wonderful people, I don’t have much to say, besides, it’s a damn shame that Mad Max game from 2015, didn’t get more love. Been playing that with Furiosa being out (and also not doing well, theatrically, to be frank) & imagine playing an Arkham game in the wastelands & this game feels exactly on par. It does lack its certain nuances, but it’s a solid game, inspired from elements of GTA, Arkham (particularly Asylum, Origins & City). It’s probably under $20 on Xbox & PlayStation. Worth the price of admission. I also bought Tales of Kenzeria: Tau today. Hopefully, I’ll get to it. If I didn’t hear y’all talking about it & hearing the substance of the story, I would’ve truly missed it. Take care.
