Good afternoon Rod, Karen and other lovers of all things nerdy!

That Demon Slayer movie was everything that my Anime life needed!!!! My God! The way the Harshira Training Arc ended and when I got to see the movie was just perfect timing. I know that we are a few years away from the other two movies, but if I am getting this level of cinema, it shall be worth the wait. I mean, who goes into a movie super hyped and leave the same movie needing kleenex! Can I dare say that we got a smidge of some fine Black acting from Akaza’s backstory? I will not spoil anything too deep, but whew…..how do I go from hoping that the ravens got a back-a-otomy for Giyuu to where I need to give Akaza a real bring-it-in hug. Gots to pray for everyone fighting with those upper demons. And shout out to Zenitsu looking like he arrived to his mission when everyone else fell in wondering WTF! Whew, that is my Demon Slayer Arc in my Anime viewing. I will plan on re-watching Demon Slayer again, just to appreciate what I saw. Anyhoo, thank you again Rod, Karen and esteemed guests!

    How’s it going Nerds?

Flew down to one of Australias lesser cities, Melbourne, 2 weeks ago & went to a Lego Star Wars exhibition. They had some really cool Lego recreations of scenes from the movies & stuff. Apparently, it took about 3 years to plan & build it all. I added a some pics

Also completed Grounded 100% & got a couple of those low % achievements. The achievement for completing the game 100% was only 0.27%.

It’s a fun game & is basically like playing honey I shrunk the kids. It’s also on game pass.

    Have a good 1
    Wonga

Que pasa, Rod, Karen & guests.

Can I talk about the greatest that is Ratchet & Clank? Haven’t played the Rift Apart yet, but I did play the 2015 remake, which is great & reminds us why it’s perhaps the most consistent platformer not named Mario. Now, I wasn’t always this high on the games originally, because if I had one nagging problem with the PS2 original, it was the lack of a strafe button. I beat the game, sure, just never came back to complete “everything” (skill points, gold bolts, etc) because of that damn camera. And when Going Commando (my favorite in the series, currently) put that on R2, it turned an already good game into a phenomenal experience, since, at its fundamentals, R&C *is* a third person shooter, that’s also a platformer. And after Going Commando up until Deadlocked (The PS2’s true final Ratchet & Clank game not counting PSP ports of Secret Agent Clank, which is terrible, btw & Size Matters, which isn’t bad) at least for me, since I’m new to current Sony, showcased why its Sony’s premier platformer. Yes, Astro Bot & Jak & Daxter are good in their own rights, but there’s nothing like your first love. It’s like $20 on the PS store it hooked me like the other ones. Looking forward to getting to Rift Apart & the ones currently streamable from PS3 on PS5.

RIP, Robert Redford. Truly, truly, truly, a good white man who lived his wraps & didn’t perform “performative impartiality”, just did the right thing because it was the right thing. Anyway, peace.

Talking about graphics, there’s a reason that 8k isn’t taking off. 95%, or more, of people can not tell the difference between 4k and 8k. What can be improved are size, buffering, and being able to between home & mobile systems (then battery life for the mobile system).
