In America’s current (for the past 50ish years) political climate, the left sees the term uneducated as an insult while the right sees it as a badge of honour. The anti-intellectualism and assertions that education is indoctrination have been a hangover of the Reagan administration and is one of the reasons State universities have been consistently increasing tuition (which HBCUs and other private universities have used as a permission structure to raise their own tuitions). It is also behind the homeschooling and charter school movements. So, I do not think that the right would accuse the left of being uneducated because they see that as a positive…
I obviously don’t know America so well, but didn’t all those people do “ their own research “ and that’s why they think they know stuff better, because their research is obviously more reliable than what a leftist university would teach?
