Egg on a burger is so good. First tried it in Brazil, but here it’s often on a “kitchen sink” burger that has bacon and everything. Give it a shot.
And Pizza Hut in the 80s-early 00’s was so good. Buttery crust. Personal pan or breadsticks. And the buffett! What a time to be alive. Even Cici’s, lower quality, but great for a family night, was a time. I remember meeting up with other families and eating there. Dessert pizza. We used to be a proper country.
Whether people agree if Stephan A is a coon or not, that was pretty wild of him to go whine about that thumbs down award to Sean Hannity of all people. The optics aren’t great and I think he does have a problem where black women are concerned. I find it so funny that he didn’t say a thing about Dump calling him stupid. But this is what gets him riled up. He may not be a full blown coon like Jason Whitlock but he’s definitely a tap dancer.
A Pan Pizza Demic, if you will
I think that another big difference between Pizza Hut (and other lower price establishments) back then and now is that the price for a going to a real restaurant is now essentially the same as going to a “cheap” family restaurant (thanks venture capital!)…
The price for a burger and fries at a Micky D’s is now about 90% the price for a burger & fries at a place that will make you a real hamburger with a nice bun and flavored fresh-cut fries. When it was 25% then Micky D’s was an option, but now it just isn’t. For pizza I can get a good pizza with real cheese or an oily Pizza Hut abomination? Is there a choice?
