Hi yall, Felix here. First of all, I’m sorry I got a bit passionate about Netflix’s advertising of cannon busters. I’m just really hoping enough of us who it catered to watched it for them to not cancel it. I think I was getting preemptively mad at folks that will definitely tweet more if it gets cancelled than when it came out. I’m just gonna enjoy it as much as I can while we have it. I’ve already watched it all the way through 4 times now so Seis Manos was for sure a great way to continue that enthusiasm on my part. I just didnt livetweet and draw fanart for that one but I enjoyed it just as much. The last 3 episode of Seis Manos were bloody brilliant. Some Korra level action in that show.
To the person that was having trouble with The Fifth Season by N. K. Jemisin, the story is pretty straightforward. Jemisin just does a really thorough job with the world building so the ecosystems of the world never feels half baked. It has 3 main viewpoint characters whose stories I think will intersect by then end. I’m only halfway through but I’m enjoying it a lot. If you’re able to give it another go maybe try the audiobook. That might make it easier to process. The scenes where they use their powers are described so viscerally. I always look forward to them. It also appears getting into her stuff now was good timing with her Green Lantern comic getting ready to come out next month with art by our dude Jamal Campbell (of Naomi fame).
Lastly, I was wondering if any of you guys have been reading the image comic Excellence by Brandon Thomas and Khary Randolph? I didnt hear about it until recently when my comic shop guys mentioned it to me. It looks interesting (a.k.a. I saw a black lead and creative team and am ready to support after how good bitter root was) so I’ll probably get the first volume digitally when it’s out. If any of you guys have read it I’d be interested in your thoughts on it. I’ll try and be less verbose next time Haha. Felix out.

Y’all played that Indivisble? Best Kickstarter game I backed. It’s from the gay dude and his team that made Skullgirls and in Skullgirls fashion it’s The game to look at when looking for diversity made well. Game is fun as well, you notice the FGC pedigree when playing. Unfortunately it isn’t super newbie friendly but hey, it’s good and fun. You’ll get better. Even the gratuitous titty jiggle goes by and I don’t notice. It’s that damn good. I usually do a 180 when the titty jiggle comes in strong.
That latest Immortal Hulk…Nigga! Anyway comics, why all hate Hank McCoy? Last time I read anything about him he came out as gay and then got switched out for some evil version and then I basically didn’t touch Xmen until house of M or Day of M..I don’t remember. The time when all mutant niggas disappeared. That one. I basically fell of Xmen ok, only Logan and Laura Kinney, X23, interest me now.
